About Us: CPC is a leading Australian-managed, UK-owned agribusiness with strong ESG values. We own and operate nine station aggregations in Australia and two feedlots in Indonesia. Across more than 3.2 million hectares of land, our team cares for over 300,000 head of cattle and produces a diverse range of crops.

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in all pre-start meetings and safety toolbox talks
  • All cattle operations, including mustering, drafting, processing, and trucking, while practicing low-stress livestock handling techniques.
  • Ride horses and two-wheel motorbikes for mustering.
  • Operate motor vehicles and machinery (manual vehicles) and perform prestart checks.
  • Maintain fences, including straining and general repairs.
  • Assist with vehicle maintenance and repairs (changing tyres, oil, cleaning).
  • Check stock watering points and maintain water facilities and pipelines.
  • Perform general station maintenance.

What You Need:

  • A genuine interest in working and living on a remote cattle station.
  • Be prepared to work and live in a team environment
  • Horse riding ability (or a willingness to learn).
  • Ability to ride a two-wheel motorbike (or a willingness to learn).
  • Skills in cattle handling and mustering (or a willingness to learn).
  • A current and valid driver's license (manual) and motorbike license (optional).

School leavers are welcome to apply as training and mentoring will be provided.

Physical Demands: This job is physically demanding and includes both indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather and temperature environments. You will be expected to walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, grip, grasp, push, and pull various tools and equipment. You will need the ability to frequently lift, push, and pull from 5-10-20 kilos and occasionally more. This job will require the ability to ascend and descend ladders.
